About Us

Scouts is for young people between the ages of 11 and 14 years.  Our programme includes a wide variety of activities (indoor and outdoor), including games, sports, rock climbing, canoeing, green field camping, wide games, tracking, pioneering, life-skills, crafts, camp fires, citizenship, faith, fire lighting, community, soaking each other with water and friendship!

Scouts usually wear a smart uniform and they work towards a huge variety of badges.  We meet each Thursday evening during term-time at 7.00pm at the Memorial Hall, Nottingham Road, Cropwell Bishop.

There are also various weekend activities throughout the year, including camps, fun days, community events, theatre, trips, etc. So come on, get with the action!

In Summer 2011 the Scout Section Leaders began forming ties with the Nottingham Parachute Regimental Association. The troop will be taking the name Pegasus. Pegasus is one of the emblems of the Parachute Regiment, and we have been given permission to develop links with them which we hope will become a long and worthwhile association.
