Badge information

The main badges that the Beavers work towards together are the Challenge badges. Challenge badges are earned through activities within the Colony and so the programme incorporates the activities required for the badges. There are six in all and if the Beavers get them all, they are also awarded the Bronze Chief Scout's badge.

• The Friendship Challenge
• The Promise Challenge
• The Fitness Challenge
• The Creative Challenge
• The Global Challenge

In addition to the Challenge badges their are Activity Badges, these can be earned either during Colony activity and we use them to add interest to the programme and give the Beavers some choice in badges they might want to aim for. They can be earned through activities the Beavers are involved in outside of the Colony such as, for example, sporting activity. You might want to discuss these with your Beaver and if there are any he or she would particularly like to aim for let us know.
